I envisioned a Tahitian woman sitting grounded, maybe slightly uncomfortable, but finding comfort in her position. She’s calmed by the golden waters of Vaipahi surrounding her and the stars above represent her story, her past and future with those who have shared her life, and have come and gone. She’s compassionate, patient and is filled with hope and foresight of lighter days. She’s also accompanied by a bird spirit, her protector and motivator to move forward with great stride.
