She has a BA in Fine Art and a Masters Degree in Museum Studies specializing in exhibition and design from San Francisco State University.

Rachael began her professional career as a Gallery Director in 2001, building and managing art galleries both in the Bay Area and Maui. Artist Statement

It's all about the texture!!! My intention is to create a new line of artwork involving multiple mediums that carry its own light. I want it to be impactful and different. All things in nature inspire me and it is the source to my work.

Detail is also a huge factor in my work. Some of my larger and more elaborate paintings take me months, sometimes years to complete. I'd consider myself a very slow painter, but mostly I find it important to spend quality time with each painting in order to capture its essence and story.
