Deep Blue. Original Painting

Introducing a new piece titled, “Deep Blue.”

For those of you who love to gaze at the ocean, or lie under the all-moving sky, this one’s for you. Let your gaze turn soft, let your mind begin to dissolve into a place without restraint or limitations, and picture a place that’s warm and comfortable. Maybe it’s with a special person, or perhaps a place you visited as a child. Maybe it’s a familiar thought, or a dream you’ve always wanted to pursue. Whatever it is, go there, see it in its full splendor, take in the light, and the surrounding sounds. See it in your minds eye and allow it to become a part of your reality. Allow it to fill your heart.

Take a deep breath, then take two more. Know that whatever you envisioned in front of you, will change you, will guide you, and teach you what you need to know. Move with it, with grace and ease. Embrace it, but always remember that just like the sky and the deep ocean, or even a blue butterfly; life never stands still. That we’re always in constant motion and change. That people and things may come and go, yet the present moment is theoretically all we can endear, and the love and gratitude we gain, is all we can take with us. Xo RDH
