This is my first painting of hopefully many, from our time in self quarantine.
I call it, “Whispers of the Nene,’” a brand new painting. 31.5” x 16” original mixed media painting on 24k gold leaf and special texture with box frame.
When I think of Nene’, I think of their gentle presence. Quiet and grounded with-in a world of constant change and uncertainty. Nene’ reminds us we have the ability to overcome these difficult times when we all come together to protect each other, with resilience, patience, and compassion.
